I wish I could ski like that. They always make it look so easy.

Tic-tac is just showing off. I reckon I could probably do two of them before I'd cross my skis and land flat on my face.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Last IASI training course I did we had to tic-tac back up the hill. Exhausting at 3,000m, but satisfying in a masochistic kind of way when timing, movement and edge control all come together.

I'm wondering how often we need to tic-tac down or up a slope, it doesn't seem a very common way of skiing

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

It's just a test (or development) of timing, coordination, edge control. And it gives the coach a giggle. I don't like them because it's a tough drill. I'm sure if I was better at them I'd think they were great wink

Thanks for sharing it - useful to see, and a good reminder of some things I should be practicing.

@kieranm, IASI, like the Swiss, are keen on demoing drills during exams and have gone back to using some classics that help for mogul skiing and SL skiing like tic tacks, spiess turns, swedish turns etc. plus some limited freestyle which is all good in my view. I suck at most of em, must practice Toofy Grin

Jordan's tic tacks and dolphin turns are v v v good Cool Cool
