Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

@jbob, it's a bit of a jumble but I think that most of the sections are there, not clear at all though and each section has the entire introduction as the first half! Bargain though considering what actual copies are going for.

Some good news. A revised BoD has been published and is available in English in Chamonix for 19 euro.

@jbob,
Following our chat this morning I went out and purchased same. Thanks for the alert.

The only person I know to be unhappy at this reprint is my landlord René. He has a French copy with a signed thank you in the front from the man himself (René's is the picture on page 167). He had intended to cash in last year, but having seen my new copy, he reckons it is now probably worth about ten bob.

Disappointing that all the routes I have done in the book, Baud rates as suitable for an old lady pushing a pram.

Maybe only of interest to me. Saint Anselm, born in Aosta and became Archbishop of Canterbury at the time of the Crusades.

It says French in the title but the book is in English (as is the picture). Or at least my copy that arrived this morning is Very Happy

Wouldn't call it hardback though, more cardback.

That's good info.
I had seen the glossy new French version in Aux Vieux Campeur Sallanches and wondered if there was an English version available in Chamonix.

@Gordyjh, I saw that too, but held my nerve because of the picture and the English edition turned up.
