Poster: A snowHead
|
My wife and I would like to do some ski touring around the three valleys next year (will be based in St Martin de Belleville Jan-Mar)
We're both fairly new to skiing (8-10 weeks ish) so I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a guide?
Ideally we would like to be taught the basics on mountain safety/skills as well as just going out for the day
any recommendations? many thanks, andy

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I'd start with this, and either ski with Simon or ask who he recommends if not available on your dates.

offpisteskiing if he's free or try one of the New Gen schools if not: superb experiences with both

Stayed in Courchevel last year and used Ski Marmalade who were based in Meribel for off-piste though am sure they do touring too. The instructors often live down the mountain so should be able to start wherever suitable I imagine.

What about the lovely @Husky Dave? Works for mountain tracks - and snowHeads - but I think does private sessions as well?
