Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I'd still get a shuffle on if I were you. I don't think he'll be losing sleep over a set of bindings.

Well luckily for me I've now managed to get enough QK inserts & screws back under my retention of title clause to cover what was owed to me.

@2planks, did you manage to get your stuff?

Administrators auctioning off the last of the assets:

Makes you quite sad looking through that lot and imagining it all in the shop where it should be Sad

I've just caught up with this as I've had an email notification of an online auction next month.
We've had quite a lot of kit from them over the years and sad to hear ... Sad

Here's the link to the online auction itself https://www.bidspotter.co.uk/en-gb/auction-catalogues/timed/es-group/catalogue-id-ed10491
Some potential bargains there, I'd be very tempted by the Scott Black Majics if I didn't already have a pair.
Worth noting that it appears to be buyer collects, and there is a buyer premium of 15% that is added too. Plus 20% VAT on top of the total.

Unfortunately for me there are not any DPS skis on the list that I want/need (under the n+1 rule).

I missed the sale when Spyderjon bought out the DPS stock when 47 Degrees shutdown.

@spyderjon, Are you planning on buying anything from Edge auction?? If so you should set yourself up a delivery service for those of us who can't get there ;-P

I'm already registered with Bidspotter & there are a few items I'd be interested in but unless I was to win them all at the right price it's not worth the full day/400 mile round trip for me to collect them. If it had a been a physical auction with online bids as well then I think I would've gone but with online only if I win just one item then I'm screwed. And it's definitely not worth me going to the viewing day.

If anyone is interested in the Wintersteiger SBI machine (I'm not BTW), then I know quite a bit about the condition/commissioning costs of that actual machine which I'd be happy to share.

@spyderjon, Wish I could justify the buying the Wintersteiger but i don't wax that many skis Happy - Still it would look nice in the garage Happy

Theres loads id be interested in but with such a short window to collect its a pain!! If they allowed a saturday collection i could see my bank being emptied wink

Depends what you mean by "courier". Auctioneers won't package and label stuff for UPS or whoever to collect. But you could send a more specialised courier who would need to act as your representative - so unlikely to be cost effective.

@beequin, lol thanks.

I only need 2 pairs and was looking at the hestra heated gloves. Was also looking at the zipfits, ortovox jacket, some of the bags, carbon poles, and other bits and bobs. Not that I need any more kits but I never like to turn down a bargain if it can be had wink (not that it would be a bargain if I had to pay a courier to travel 300 plus miles for a pair of gloves lol )

@holidayloverxx, Sadly I don't think my accountant will see ski equipment as necessary for construction material etc - or could it be classed as entertaining clients.......... not sure ill get away with that one wink. I can only claim back 9.5% VAT back (plus corp) so hardly worth it anyway Happy

Is it just me or is that a very wide range of somewhat exotic skis?

With no option to put into a hire fleet?

@SnoodyMcFlude, I like your plan.

Spoke to the auction today. They said that there maybe the possibility to extend the collection period to the Tuesday after the bank hol IF there is enough people requesting it.

Email them with this request and if there's enough of us they will try to oblige

If i find anything i need I would be happy to go down for folks in S Mids (Worcs, Warwicks, Glos etc) and they can pick from me and share petrol costs. Just strating to look through but the body armour seems a no brainer
