Snow Reports
FAQ
Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Does anybody fancy sharing a private transfer on these dates. We (2) land at 1500 Hrs from Heathrow and return on 14th Jan to fly at 1555 hrs.
Obviously

Closer to the date now so I thought I'd give this another try.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@Dave Canski,
Sorry I cannot help on your particular transfer and not sure of your plan B/other options
however as an annual Salzburg to Saalbach traveller who frequently lands at 10am and just misses as the circa 3 hourly excellent shared transfer company,
http://holiday-shuttle.at,
I regularly take a taxi and thought I would share with you the company I have found as the cheapest option ( actually just booked them again this morning myself for my trip on 27th)
http://www.salzburgtaxi.eu
They charge €135 one way, I am travelling alone this time, but was same price previously when 2 of us, other companies were quoting €160+ this year

The public bus (see
www.oebb.at
) leaves from right outside the airport terminal, takes a couple of hours and costs about 14 euros - just in case you feel like economising on either leg.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@ribblevalleyblue
, further to your comment do the taxi company allow vehicles with sufficient room for 2 sets of luggage and 2 sets of skis / snowboards?
