Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

When Do Eurostar Release Skiing Trains Fares?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
A friend has just come back having traveled Eurostar, she really enjoyed. We've done couchettes before so I like the train, main issue is they release fares very late compared to flights. Interested in looking at Eurostar next season, anyone any idea approx when they release fares? Thanks

Hi, i booked the over night snowtrain for March 10th this year and booked pretty much on the day they were released (booked on 20th July) so I would say for straight through you're looking at 9 months prior.

A reasonable time frame to allow for comparisons with flight, the french trains are 2-3 months which is too late for us.

thefatcontroller, standard Eurostar can be booked 6 months in advance - the Ski Train even earlier.
Yes, the standard SNCF trains can only be booked 3 months in advance, but iDTGV trains can be booked 4-6 months in advance, and include the weekend direct Paris to Bourg trains.

They usually release fares for the ski train in July. Mid July for the last 2 seasons.
