I would have thought you would be fine. I borrowed a set once which werent for the skis I had with a lot more gap between the edges than in the pics. The only problem I had was traversing across a fairly hard snow slope where they kept slipping as the edge of the upper ski where the skin was missing was in contact with the snow. Going straight up or down or in deeper snow was fine.

@Dabber, It all depends on the quality of the snow and the steepness of the skin track. In mellow terrain and soft snow you won't notice it. Don't forget some people tour with straight skins that only touch the edges underfoot.
As mentioned above, on harder snow traversing a steep slope on a steep track you will have to extra careful with your technique. I would plan a test day, where you try a variety of slopes and snow conditions before planning a epic on them. I wouldn't have thought you would have any/many issues finding G3 skins in BC if you really need new ones.

What @PowderAdict, said. I did exactly the same recently, I wanted to postpone buying skins for my Directors until I'd tried the skis for touring, and was satisfied that they would be OK. My old skins were, like yours, 10mm less underfoot. On mellow slopes they were fine, on steep slopes, the combination of no rocker and incomplete skins was a nightmare, even with crampons. I'm buying new skins before next season.
By the way, the Directors were great  .

@Dabber,
Again, as per @PowderAdict, I bought some new 95mm underfoot light touring skis for this season. I used the skins from my Cham 87's without problem on a few shorter tours earlier in the season. Similar skin to edge gap to yours. A couple of weeks ago I had a shocking time on a steepish icyish track up to the Col Du Passon, even with ski crampons on. It was a loser every way as the knives didn't stop me sliding back all over the place, an still made the whole thing less efficient as there is zero glide with the knives.
I girded my loins and bought properly fitted skins. Been up about 3000 icy metres since and it is like chalk and cheese. A lot less effort and fear.

@Dabber, One other thing, if you decide that you really do need new skins, consider the G3 High Traction version of the Alpinist. I switched from the Alpinst to the HT (on my Wailer 112's) and the difference was huge in terms of grip. You do of course loose out in terms of weight and glide, but for me I use less energy (because there is always grip), than I loose on the glide. There were a couple of hardback sections I could go straight up, whereas my guide had to zig-zag.

@PowderAdict, @Chamcham, @HammondR, i think the consensus is buy new skins , which i think is the right way to go , as even in bc there are frozen early morning ascents !!! @PowderAdict, my son has the high traction on his split board and loves them , I'm not a weight counter so will try a pair on the directors to help compensate for the width and twin rocker

Why not slit them down the middle? 750mm to 1000mm slit so the binding is in the middle and then you have split skins which you can set exactly where you need the traction, you won't be getting any grip from the rocker areas in any case. I use home-slit skins that were originally for Scott Missions (90mm?) on current skis that are 105mm wide and they work fine in all types of snow. No extra hassle to put on or off plus you save weight on the missing bit in the middle!
