Pissing down in resort this afternoon from about 14:00 onwards. Not much better higher up according to colleagues. Ice skates would've been better for walking through the pedestrianised bit!

There will be a waterballet first up to 2000 m, and after that Föhn, which definitely has its effects around the Arlberg....
But there is enough snow.

Must say St Anton is looking tempting for Wed to Fri next week, would need to get someone at work to cover a meeting on Wed morning but then it could be a goer. I take it the crowds will be gone after the weekend or is it already quiet?

Higher areas closed today due to the winds (Rendl, Kapall, Schindler, above Zuersersee, Rufikopf etc.) and raining in all resorts around the Arlberg, including St Christoph and Lech. Hopefully doesn't do too much damage....

Rain turned to snow just after midday. Majority of lifts closed due to high winds.

Was at the top of Galzig when the lift closed for a while just after midday. Decided to ski down the Kandahar piste which was quite pleasant once the wind died down about half way down and the viz cleared.

Now snowing in town, 😊 the Dorfstrasse was like a river earlier.
