Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Boot fit?

I see Fischer are releasing the RC4 with a Zipfit for 23/24 season.

https://www.fischersports.com/new-rc4-boots

How does an RC4 100m last differ in fit to a Nordica Speedmachine 100mm last (which I’ve ridden for years, and Grand Prix before that).

I’m riding 99mm last Tecnica Zero G and Peak carbon which fit great too.

And what about the new Lange Shadow 130?

I have a feeling the last between the main manufacturers is normalizing - with LV, MV, HV giving options for 98, 100 and 102 lasts.

Anyone with more experience to confirm / put me right?

If your current boots are fine why not carry on using them?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

They’ve done quite a few days so packing out a bit. Can just buy a Zipfit liner for 400chf or upgrade everything. Fischer RC4 also has the new Boa system.

And as per @Scarlet, I like to try new gear snowHead

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@BobinCH, did you go with the new Fischer boots in the end? I’m curious/tempted, but no options within 120 miles of where I live to try before I buy.
