Poster: A snowHead

For those in blighty who can skate or snowboard this looks like loads of fun, although I do wonder how you stop. Any pros here, esp' located in South Wales. A small place outside Hay on Wye runs it but was wondering if anyone has specialised knowledge?

It looks like one of those things that should be fun, but in reality just isn't - like three-somes and eating a BigMac.
I HAVE eaten a Big mac by the way...

Done it a few times - not that much like snowboarding but probably as close as you'll get.
You stop by powersliding - basically grabbing the toeside edge of the board and sitting back to heelside.
Wear as much body armour as you can - grazes a minimum.

saxabar, It was on countryfile this morning, Ben Fogal(?) was trying it out and ended up with a blue jeans that were turned into a grassy green. Looked really good fun though!! Apparently the UK is where everyone else in the world comes to (according to the 2 NZ world champs they spoke to) as it has such variation in terrain that is readily available within a 3 hour trip. go on and have a go and let us know how it goes!!
