Poster: A snowHead

I'll post this in "wanted" too.
Mr G has acquired 2nd board ( 2nd hand) and needs bindings to go with. Usually rides new style Flows ( on border of L and XL, M30.5 boots) but happy for strap bindings too. Has old style Flow Amps but they hurt the back of his legs, he says, and they're heavy and not so good for more of a park board, which this is (ish).
Anyone got anything surplus at a not silly price? (EB seems bit silly at present)
Will need discs too - standard 2 parallel lines of holes set-up.
Thanks.

@Grizzler, you should check out sport-conrad.de / ekosport.co.uk / glisshop.co.uk and blue-tomato.com. All have some decent reductions on bindings at the moment. I gave up on Ellis Brigham for equipment when they were still trying to punt a pair of splitboard bindings that were 4 years old for the same price as they were new 4 years ago!!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@Backcountryboarder, Thanks. Unfortunately new stuff, even if discounted, is out of his price range right now.

@Grizzler, I saw the thread title and thought that someone was wanting spare bindings for a pair of Kneissl Big Foot, then I saw it was snowboarding related....

There are some <£90 deals on Absolute Snow at the moment. If you want cheaper than that, then its Flea-bay... plenty on there for the cost of a round.

@Richard_Sideways, You must either have expensive tastes in alcohol or a lot of drinking buddies Maybe just time of year, but everything he's been bidding on (flea bay) has gone for silly money ( for 2hand stuff of unknown condition).

Erm... why does he need an extra set of bindings? They take about 2 mins to swap over between boards.

@Dave of the Marmottes, Erm, why not? I guess coz it takes a lot longer than 2 minutes to swap 'em over ( well, my Flows certainly do, and he has the same) and it's a right fiddly faff especially in outside cold and windy and snowy conditions or if suddenly decide to grab board and go quick of a morning.

@Grizzler, fairynuff. Just thought it was the expedient solution given weight for travel and budget only extending to a cheapy second pair.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

I think I got the big bulky flows in L
The really old style flows. If they hurt the back of his legs, then has he tried adjusting them?

You know it makes sense.

@Mr.Egg, Yes, he's messed around nearly as much as I do with my ski boots It's a problem he's had since using them as a beginner many moons ago. He has top end modern ones, no bother.
@HandyHand, Thanks. I can't seem to get into that FB page even through a logged-on user account; never used FB selling sites.
