Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi guys, I need to stay a night in Innsbruck on Sunday and am looking for a 'reasonable' clean central place, easily accessible from the airport. I don't know Innsbruck at all and am thinking maybe somewhere near the main railway atation, any suggestions? Thx johnor

I stayed at the hotel Central recently and it was decent - about £90. Nice cafe, short walk to the pubs and restaurants of the old town.

The Ibis at the Haupbanhaupbanhof was about £70.

Both are easy to get to using the airport bus.

Ibis is where I stayed quite a few times (mainly co I have their silver card, get points and half the time are cashing them in for cheap rooms)

It's right at the station, even to the extent that you can get from a train to the room without even going outside. And the bus stop is right outside too (Bus F to/from the airport).
There are a couple of other hotels opposite but I've never stayed there.

A few minutes' walk in to the main shopping/eating part of town.
