Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Background info: The Netherlands might be small (and flat Toofy Grin ), but we have approx. 1 million skiers (out of 17 million inhabitants) Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

When I lived in Holland, and a colleague mentioned he'd be away skiing/boarding the following week, I'd ask "Mayrhofen?"
They'd reply "how did you know that?"
"Err, you're Dutch!" Wink
"Yeah, there are quite a few Dutch that go there"

Although given that there would be a 12 hour party bus driving from Utrecht-Mayhofen and the same back a week later, and the Ice Bar probably sold more Grolsch before it shut at 8pm than a bar in NL that's open till 4am (midnight lockin), I can't believe there was actually much skiing that took place.

@andy,
Still, Mayrhofen is not among the biggest 'Dutch' names (and actually I would think M. has a stronger British presence and image)
Gerlos, Kirchberg and Westendorf probably are worst.

Flaine & Chatel: not really. (possibly more Flemish)
A better indicator nowadays would be the huge number of Transavia flights from Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven to Innsbruck. Very Happy (on top of majority coming by car of course)

Doesn't matter where or when I go on holiday in Europe there will always be lots of Dutch people, specially either camping or skiing. I've come to the conclusion that there's not enough space in the Netherlands for everyone, so there's a rota to make sure that at least 20% of the population are away on holiday at all times.

I went out with a Dutch girl who wore inflatable shoes.

Well, when I say went out, we only had one date.

The following day she popped her clogs.
