Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A snowHead
My sister wants a good all mountain ski and Nomad's have had great first season reviews and I have also skiied the black ones this season and found them very pleasant.
She is an intermediate who is just beginning to get into skiing and can handle herself on the piste, She needs to make the next step to gaining more control on steeper slopes and at greater speeds.
I would always buy the Crimson but will they be too good for her or wil she grow into them and love 'em
So Crimson or Black?

plectrum
, depends on the colour of the ski suit
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

, Black
I'm just concened that the Crimson's will be too advanced for her, but when i skiied the Blacks they were very easy to ski.

plectrum
, I'd always say the Crimson as it certainly feels narrower than it's actual width. Even with the Neox bindings it's a light ski & easy to handle so don't go too short either (at least equal to her height) otherwise they'll get a bit twitchy when hooning & schussing etc. And set the Neox's to the forward position. The new 08/09 Ti model with the extra metal layer will probably be too stiff so just stay with the standard model.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
