Looks like it was snowing quite hard in Northern Ireland this morning, but isn't John away in the alps? If he is, it'll be quite ironic if he's missed it altho' I can't see him complaining too hard. Also a few flakes in London as I walked to the office!!

Yep - Northern Ireland got a bit. 5 - 10 cm yesterday(Thur) and the same today
I'm in Omagh and it's hanging about a bit on the Sperrin mountains.
Still giving cold weather over the weekend - no snow forcast though
Best conditions on the upper slopes

Not a flake here in Glasgow- I am extremely dissappointed as according to the weather forecast the whole of Scotland is under feet of snow, except for us!

I'm in Magherafelt at the momment. About 10 miles from the Glenshane Pass where BBC weather had an outside broadcast this morning with the lovely Carol Kirkwood. Loads of snow up there. But the strong sun is fast melting it off south facing fields.

Isle of Man had about 6 inches yesterday. It closed the airport and I only just got home from London. Today its just started snowing again so it looks like an interesting weekend, if I manage to get home from work tonight

Nothing up here, but was at Glencoe yesterday and there was some snow - about half the runs seemed to be filled in (obviously the lifts weren't running, so I'm estimating from afar).
Lovely clear blue skys up there as well...

Absolutely tons of the stuff here, about a foot I'd say. Been too busy throwing snowballs at the neighbours to post.

You need to get yourself a landrover Lorraine - one with a winch! Don't know if the cable would be long enough though

Actually even better a landrover with a capstan winch on the front, only limit to the distance would be the length of rope you can find

Lorraine Agass, you can pick up a really old landie for less than a grand - use it for one winter and sell it at the end for exactly what you paid for it! Classic car insurance is virtually free too...
