Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Sounds right, we've had bucket loads, a meter of powder in Nendaz and 30 or 40 cm down here at home. And it's forecast for all week on pretty much every forecast I read.

How cool's that ? Very Happy

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

For those of you willing to go back through umpteen pages on the Wengen thread you will note that I said there would be good snow at the beginning of the February and that is when I'd be going, hows that for a 3 Month+ Forecast Laughing Laughing Laughing

Just got back from a day at Kitzbuehel. No time to watch the slalom. Too much powder. Surprising really. Talking to people on the lifts it must have been absolutely awful weather on Saturday, with hurricane force wind, rain, the whole nine yards... So bad that they closed most of the lifts and called off the downhill, which is something that the guys at Kitz usually only do over someone's dead body.
Magically the wind must have died down over night, and the rain must have turned into snow because there was a whole sh*t load of it there today. Magic. And more on the way!
Life isn't so bad after all!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Just spent another day at... Yes you've guessed it, Kitzbuehel.
Conditions are about as good as they ever get. It's been so cold that the powder has kept for the last few days (-20C in Kirchberg at the Fleckalmbahn this morning). I spent the whole day over by Pass Thurn laying down tracks! Orgasmic is the only way of describing today's skiing!
More snow on the way, lots of it, if the weather gods are not making fun of us. So if you are not yet decided about what to do next weekend, get on a plane in the direction of Austria!
