petel, I only went to Puy once but I used to love cretes. Absolutely perfect blue run and that photo makes it look so inviting. I'd go back just for that run alone!

petel,
when I was in PSV 2 years ago, snowboards were banned from the Rocher Noir teleski. So I tried to go up on blades the next day and that wasn't allowed either. Is it really that difficult? I don't ski any more (use my snowboard hard boots on the blades).

The Rocher Noir teleski is still not allowed for snowboards, blades and those snowbike thingies. I am told that this is because this teleski takes people to a blue crete run, but is you fall off of the teleski you only have access to steep off piste to get down. PSV has taken the view that skis are more stable on this teleski and therefore you are less like to fall off of it.
If you are determined you can get to more or less the same places by a long traverse from the top of the pendine.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Guess it makes sense.
Blades would be easier on the lift but a liability if you fell off into steep powder. A snowboard might be tricky on the lift.

Just got back. 2nd hand information is that snowboarders tend to cause problems to (derail I guess) the lift - it wasn't open anyway.
Got 20-30cm new snow on Sunday 23rd and v. cold since then so conditions are generally grippy hard snow. A few rocks showing in places though.
As before lovely quiet pistes and great for the kids. The Esprit team were excelent this year.
