Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi!
Wondering if anyone is booked /or looking to to book a guide/ off piste lessons for 5 mornings this week, travelling with 2 beginners this year
Staying in Tignes Val Claret. Normally don't like skiing alone off piste for obvious reasons and feel like i'll get bored cruising around all day. Haven't skied in Killy before so don't know the terrain / pitfalls / danger spots.
I'm in my 20's and reasonably fit, worked/skiied a season before, skiied most itineraries in the resorts I've stayed in but only took up skiing in January 2012. Very Happy skiing off piste in anything but whiteout. Love trees.
Happy to go for a day in Les Arcs or Ste Foy as they are reasonably easy to get to.
Thanks in advance!

I'd say contact TDC, but also ask here for up to date local info:-

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I commend you on the subject just to let others know.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

ESF Grand Ski if it still exists sounds pretty interesting off piste for those who like such things. Classe 3 also sounded like there was a not insignificant amount of time off piste. Not done them, ESF classe 2 was more than enough for my level of bravery at their time

I've skied off piste for a few years with tdc in Val and I'm sure you'll have a really good time.
