Yes, part of the interview showed a lift name, Whitestar Express, the lift you take to get to where the photo was taken, down a run called "A Real Journey"!... too many clues! But as snowball says, I suspect Sarge is a local so just recognized it!

I'm going to give this to @Idris as I think that is correct. We got snowed in at the end of the week, everything closed due to avalanche risk and no transport out other than helicopters flying the wealthier skiers down the valley.

I've only been there for part of a day (destination of a hell drop run from Alagna) but yes, I can see it now.

Since @snowymum hasn't come back yet I'll interpolate this difficult one (view from cablecar station). I'll be interested to see if anyone on here has skied there. Later I'll give the view the opposite way, which is a bit easier.
