Poster: A snowHead
|
I am intermediary snowboarder, been a few snowboarding week trips within Europe and A week in Japan
and
my friend is an advanced skier, he been many weeks skiing trips within Europe.
We normally take a single room with half board package each and we both basic in Manchester. not so easy to form a group when you are past 20s'
Would be nice to meet some mates to take a Chalet or Apartment, ski in and out would be good fun!
I am happy to tag along with the group as well.
If you around Manchester, Could snowboarding at Chill Factor, make sure that I won't bored to guys to death
but my friend he should be a chatty one, I think!! :rolleyes:
Hope there are some people at the same path

Make Yourself A snowHead Bash, Livigno
Whether it's time you made yourself into a snowHead or want to make yourself one out of a spare friend or Family member - we all know someone who has been meaning to learn to ski. This bash hopefully covers all the sticking points that have prevented them doing so till now snowHead
27th Jan - 3rd Feb :: PreBBWUW6
Pre Birthday Bash Warm Up Week, Alleghe
Lovely, friendly little resort in the Italian Dolomites at a very friendly price - with reasonable access to the mighty Sela Ronda. As if that wasn't enough, it's even better value when doing the double with the Birthday Bash.
3rd - 10th Feb 2018 :: S14BB
snowHeads 14th Birthday Bash, Arabba
Celebrate snowHeads ongoing teenagerdom in Arabba, right on the legendary Sela Ronda circuit, connecting so many stunning destinations, a week simply isn't enough to do it justice.
3rd - 10th Mar 2018 :: GnarliBuG
Gnarly But Gnice, Gressoney Happy
While the Monterossa area has some truly Gnarly off piste available, there are also really Gnice scenic red runs, restaurants, views and oodles of easily accessible 'side country' for those who may like to dip in and out occasionally or on a whim without having to commit to getting out of sight of the piste.
10th - 17th Mar 2018 :: SOPiB2018
Spring Off Piste Bash, Serre Chevalier
For anyone comfortable with anything a black run throws at them and looking beyond the piste markers. We divide into groups of 5 or 6, the less experienced led by instructors, others taken further afield by High Mountain Guides. Moving between resorts as conditions suggest, Serre Che, La Grave, Montgenevre, Sestriere (and others) are all within easy reach.
Apr :: PreEoSB2018 (TBC)
Warm up week for the End of Season Bash!, Val Thorens
This is sort of accidental - I had to be there early to sort stuff out but more people seem to 'accompany' me each year! snowHead Well, 2 weeks are better than one, as they say.
This isn't really a proper bash...
14-21 Apr :: EoSB2018
The End of Season Bash!, Val Thorens
The legendary EoSB, needs no explanation! Cool
A word of warning though - beds in the Oxalys filled up very fast last year! Fortunately we got extra places in the Hameau du Kashmir, across the piste, which was very nice but if you really want a place in l'Oxalys, don't procrastinate too much.
Check out "Forthcoming snowHeads Events 2017/18" for more details.

Hi kimkim! I'm a snow boarding enthusiast from Mumbai India. I've been snowboarding for a few years but just about a week or so in a year. So I'm more of a beginner. I'm planning to go to Europe the coming winter. Possibly some time mid January. I'm flexible as far as dates are concerned. So far Livigno, Italy is my preferred destination. Not sure what your plans are. Let me know what you think. I've got the quote from one of the guy who arranges the trip in Livigno and it's not very pricey.

Welcome to Snowheads, I'm amazed @admin didn't plug the fantastic Snowheads bash in Livingno starting the 20th Jan. There you will meet many snow heads and be able to ski with someone at your standard, from total beginner to seasoned skiers.

@Wycombe, it's not quite ready for bookings yet, but closer to the date there will be options to book and pay here. Last year there was a significant reduction for anyone who had a snow centre monthly pass.

Id be interested to hear what plans you have in mind.
Intermediate skier, done the French chalet thing for the last few years but I could fancy a change of scenery. Currently debating the birthday bash, waiting to see what the details are before I decide.
