@BobinCH, first thing this morning was incredible wasn't it! I went for a quick chaux express lap before our group met up at 0945 for a quick bit of video analysis.
Because of the sort of things we're working on, we rarely get out of Lac des Vaux and M25, and I think we had pretty much every bit of weather you could imagine today!
Another great day though.

Any views from this afternoon (Saturday) please? Contemplating a drive over from Chamonix tomorrow (Sunday) as snow here was plentiful but heavy today.
Any intel much appreciated!

This storm dropped less snow in Verbier than Chamonix but should be great high up when the clouds break tomorrow afternoon. The base up high is excellent. This is from just before the current storm under Mont Fort

Many thanks. Also, your child(?)'s skiing is very impressive!
And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Conditions are simply amazing here.
So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

Unfortunately both Saturday and Sunday were socked in so it wasn’t possible

Not sure if I shared this before, but I had a great time skiing with @BobinCH last month and you can hear our Verbier segment (and his and Warren Smith's thoughts) at 18:30 here:
I'm just looking at who closes when, end of season, and if I'm reading it right Zermatt runs until 30th April. Can anyone local confirm that, and... presumably the glaciers are operational at least? I'm just having trouble with flights to other places, and GVA is pretty easy to get to and then it's just a train ride...
With fresh snow yesterday and a clear window forecast first thing we had a crack at the mighty Bec des Rosses.
View from Jumbo. Lots of snow up there but where’s that clear window?
High class crew at the Col! Hugo Serra, just qualified for FWT Snowboard next year and Mikkel Brandt who smashed it with a double backflip on Mont Gond at the Nendaz Freeride leading the charge
Motivating my vets crew to keep up
Waist deep in places with visible wind loading
Alas at the midway point it’s now started snowing a blowing a gale! All 3 groups agreed to descend and live to fight another day

@BobinCH, might try and get up for a little bit tomorrow, when i'm back from Zinal. Is there anything going on that I should go to?

Quiet and grey today. A couple of cm this morning above Ruinettes. My daughter has voted for ten pin bowling so no skiing for us! May be back on Weds morning for another crack at the Bec earn your turns style

@BobinCH, not long back from Zinal, so haven't bothered going up myself either. Ended up not making great use of the season pass, 16 days in total in the 4V's, but it was 16 good days!

Lively at the very top, proper slush at the very bottom and very slow and sticky creamy stuff mid.mountain.
We had a final.lunch at Cabane Mont Fort and a glass of wine with Daniel the boss there who is retiring after 40 odd years.
Overall a good season, Televerbier did a great job of keeping everything working even during the snow drought periods which badly affected many places, even Chamonix.
My piste skiing is the best it's ever been, my off piste skiing has gone backwards a bit (lack of practice? I hope that is the only reason!)
Some fun times with bobinch and Steve Sparks.
Bring on the summer in the mountains...and then next season!!

I’ve just booked a mega Hokkaido road trip next season this morning and I’m still more excited about bringing the kids out for their first time to Verbier next March

I just scoped out the perfect line for your kids trip…

Last hurrah on the Bec. The resort officially closed last weekend but they were still running the lift to Ruinettes for the workers and Haute Routers at 7:30 so we hitched a lift
Very cold for mid-April which promised good conditions up high
