Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Transfer return Turin/Sauze d'Oulx

Hi,

I will be travelling independently to meet up with people in Sauze. As a result I will have a very early return trip to Turin airport on a Saturday morning and am trying to figure out best way to do this. I have seen a couple of sites offering transfers at reasonable rates, does anybody know if they are reliable or would I need to bite the bullet and pay for a taxi?

Is the train too late?

www.trenitalia.com has trains leaving Oulx at 6:06 & 7:01(journey time ~1 hour). The fare is less than 10 euros. You can catch a bus or taxi forn the train station to the airport.

A couple of years ago the taxi fare was 120 euro. It was, of course, very convenient.

I've not tried the transfer companies so I can't comment on those.

the time would be ok to get a 10.10am flight, but its the thought of the hassle after a weeks skiing that will probably mean I will go for convenience.
