Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Broke my ankle in Tignes in December and Snowcard did a very good job of looking after me...

Visit Cardiff Ski Club site click on the link to TGIC and decide for yourself. We have looked and looked and then decide here. Spoke to them about our needs and had individual confirmation that our needs were covered.

good prices and comprehensive winter sports cover including off piste.
we have an annual family policy but our friend who comes with us sometimes pays about £20 for a weeks cover.

I've used Direct-Travel before, and am likely to do so again.

But even better value with very good cover seem to be www.jsinsurance.co.uk - their underlying policies are either AXA or White horse.

I used them last year, and am about to again.

But be careful - the White Horse policy doesn't give as good cover as the Axa policies - it doesn't cover tobogganing, while they do, the piste closure cover isn't as comprehensive, and it doesn't cover your equipment beyond paying for the cost of renting replacements.

Snowcard - but it is modular, so make sure you build yourself the insurance you need. The SCGB insurance is worth a look. Not sure there is such a thing as 'no quibble' off-piste, though. Maybe the BMC gets close to it, but I haven't looked lately at it.
